What is PipeFi?
PipeFi is a blockchain-powered invoicing and payments platform built on Sui Network. It allows freelancers, creators, and businesses to send invoices, accept payments in crypto (USDC), and withdraw to bank accounts or cards - all with fees under 2%.
Do I need to know about crypto to use PipeFi?
No! We've designed PipeFi to be as simple as traditional payment apps. You sign in with Google, and we handle all the blockchain complexity behind the scenes using zkLogin technology.
Is PipeFi available in my country?
PipeFi supports freelancers and creators in 60+ countries, with a special focus on Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Your clients can pay from anywhere in the world.
Payments & Fees
What are the fees?
PipeFi charges approximately 1% per transaction - significantly lower than traditional platforms that charge 5-10%. There are also minimal blockchain gas fees which are often sponsored for creators.
What currencies do you support?
Payments are processed in USDC (a stablecoin pegged to the US Dollar) on the Sui blockchain. Clients can pay with their Sui wallet or credit/debit card via our on-ramp partners.
How fast are payments?
Blockchain payments settle in under 1 second on Sui! Once your client pays, the funds are immediately available in your wallet.
Wallets & Security
How is my wallet secured?
Your wallet is created using zkLogin, which means it's secured by your Google account. There are no seed phrases to lose, and your funds are protected by the same security as your Google account.
What is escrow protection?
For larger invoices, you can enable escrow protection. The client's payment is held in a smart contract until you deliver the work and they approve it - protecting both parties.
Can I use my own Sui wallet?
Currently, PipeFi uses zkLogin wallets for the simplest experience. Support for external Sui wallets may be added in the future.
Withdrawals
How do I withdraw to my bank account?
You can withdraw USDC to your local bank account or mobile money using our off-ramp partners. We support withdrawals in NGN, KES, GHS, ZAR, and many other currencies.
How long do withdrawals take?
Withdrawals typically take 1-3 business days depending on your location and the amount. Some regions support instant withdrawals.
What are the withdrawal fees?
Withdrawal fees vary by provider and destination, typically ranging from 0.5% to 2%. We show you the exact fee before you confirm any withdrawal.
Invoices & Products
Can I sell digital products?
Yes! You can upload digital files (PDFs, templates, courses, etc.) and sell them directly through PipeFi. Files are stored on Walrus, a decentralized storage network.
Can my clients pay without crypto?
Absolutely. Clients can pay with a credit/debit card using our onramp integration. They don't need any crypto knowledge - we handle the conversion automatically.
Do invoices expire?
You can set a due date for invoices, and they can be marked as 'overdue' after that date. However, the payment link remains active until you manually cancel the invoice.
